It’s Smoothie Monday and this is what happens when you start recipe development before having breakfast. Chocolate in your morning shake. Remember chocolate is a plant, so you are essentially just eating salad.
WOW, what a great weekend. I spent Saturday cheering on one of my best little buddies at her first Powerlifting Comp. This lady killed it! Her first competition, she completed all her lifts, had 3 PRs and didn’t get one red light the whole time! So glad that I was there to see it all go down.
Thankfully it was a rainy day yesterday so I was able to get some studying in. Got a little side tracked last week with the novelty of the new jeep. Time to get back on track today.
- ½ c cherries, pitted
- 1 small beet, peeled, chopped
- 1-1½ c coconut water
- 5 pieces of dark chocolate
- Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.
1 scoop of your favorite protein powder
or
1 tbsp Hemp
or/and
1 tbsp Chia
