Essential Mouthwash

4-image-banner2015 is full of intention, being more mindful, positive, compassionate to oneself, and one of the most important, purchase only needs not wants.  In the last 6 months, I have been working to increase my liver function.  At one of my hematologists appointments it was discovered that my liver enzymes were high.  An ultrasound and two MRI’s later I was diagnosed with Focal Nodular Hyperplasias or FNH, the second most common form of benign liver tumors.  While these tumors usually do not cause symptoms or require treatment, I want my liver in tip top shape, running like the Warrior I know it is.

In addition to adding Chelidonium to my water and eating liver supporting foods everyday I’m working on decreasing my toxic load.  While at the dentist last week, it was suggested that I start using a rinse to help decrease bacterial flora, which will help my autoimmune disorder.  The standard suggestions were made, over the counter toxic crap.  I mentioned that I wasn’t really interested in those options, so it was suggested that I use a salt water rinse.  Then my hygienist mention adding tea tree oil as well.  Of course that got my gears a cranking, I could make my own mouthwash!

Ahh Essential Oils, how I love thee. What oh what would go in a mouthwash?  Protective Blend, Peppermint, Melaleuca and Myrrh of course.

Protective Blend
