It’s Monday, back to the grind, but it really isn’t that bad – holiday week! YAY! Start the week off with a nutrient dense green smoothie.
Did you indulge a little too much over the weekend like I did? Well, it’s time to get back on track. Let’s start the week off on the right foot.
I amped this smoothie up with some spirulina. What’s spirulina you ask? The Wellness Momma has a great post about this cyanobacteria. Check it out here –>> Spirulina Health and Nutrition. Are you interested in giving spirulina a try? I use this brand –>> Earth Circles Organics.
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp macadamia nut oil
- 1 tsp spirulina
- 2 kale leaves, roughly chopped
- 1 - 11/2 c coconut milk
- Place all ingredient in blender, except spirulina. Blend until smooth.
- Add spirulina, pulse to mix.
