Let’s shake things up this morning!

We are doing our happy dance over here today.  Jackson got a clean bill of health.  His bumps were only inflammation from his vaccination – YIPPEEE!  Did I overreact?  Likely, but I am so glad that I got the biopsy done.

What is it with vaccines?  Jackson is good and now I am having a reaction to the vaccine I got last week.  I wish oh wish that I could say I don’t want or require vaccination, but unfortunately with my health status it would be a stupid move to not protect myself.  Today I am crazy itchy.  Two options for this (1) MMR vaccine.  It is after all the time frame for symptoms to appear OR (2) the larva from my horse fly bite are making their way through my body.   I think I will bet money on the second option 🙂

It is going to be a relaxing school day for me.  Try to keep this immune system suppressed as best I can!   And what better way to do that than with a morning smoothie.  We’ve added cinnamon here to help regulate blood sugar levels and macadamia nut oil to make sure we get our fats in.

Ingredients
  • 1 banana, green tipped
  • 1 pear, peeled, chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1 -1½ c coconut milk
  • 1 tsp macadamia nut oil
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.
Notes
Want to amp this up a bit, add in some high quality protein powder.
