Strawberry Banana Smoothie


That’s right, it’s SMOOTHIE MONDAY!  Sometimes, the best smoothies are the simplest.

Well folks, I’ve been busy enjoying life this last weekend and didn’t get to post anything for a couple days.  Full days of fun are the best.  But it’s time to get in the kitchen for recipe development.  Roo haircut, school, recipe development, run.  Sounds like a good day to me 🙂  Just need to get my belly to feel better.  We had our family reunion yesterday and I didn’t pay too much attention to what I was eating.  Bad Melanie!  I’m paying for it today that’s for sure.

Oh and I have a confession to make, I am obsessed with Pretty Little Liars.  I’m way too old to watch this show!

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Serves: 1
  • 1 c organic strawberries
  • 1 organic banana
  • 1 -1½ c coconut water
  1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
Kick it up a notch and add a scoop of your favorite protein powder, hemp or chia seeds.
